bestseller.

It was read by more pastors and counselors than any previous Christian

book of its nature. Compelling and painful, Lauren's story of brutal

abuse

hope and strength</b> through the awesome redeeming power of

Jesus.

Lauren

was a reluctant spokeswoman for victims, but felt compelled to respond

pulling Satan's Underground off their publication list, as well as her

second book, "I Know You're Hurting." The FULL story of what happened

has

not yet been told (But it WILL), but it was one of the most vicious

smear

campaigns ever conducted against a believer. <b><font color="#d70023">Some

went to great lengths to bury Lauren and her books, using intimidation,

threats to others if they did not stop supporting Lauren, and a massive

effort to discredit her at every chance they were given</font></b>.

My

longstanding friendship with Lauren until her untimely death in 2002

allowed

me to see the OTHER side of the story, which one day I will make

public.

In the meantime, I felt it was important to let people know that

Lauren's

first two book as well as her third, <b>Stripped
